Mookie's view of Taylor's assembly

Taylor had her 5th grade patriotic assembly last night and they did an excellent job. I was very impressed with all of their songs and all of the soloists. They did a 3 part harmony of the national anthem and it was good! I couldn't believe these 5th graders harmonizing! I had a video of Taylor's part, but apparently mooks has deleted it. I have this one picture she took herself. Talent. 

She puts her clean clothes away...

At not even 2 years old. I was in shock. I was telling all the other kids to put their clean clothes away when I turned around to grab Mookie's pile and it was gone. I thought Taylor had just knocked it off the back of the love seat and left it on the ground. Taylor nonchalantly informed me that mooks had it putting it away and sure enough...

I wore a belt to church...around my WAIST

This is big for me. I was not blessed with a small waist, but I am actually getting one. And there are getting to be way too many pictures of me on my blog.

eBay fireworks

eBay is now open down the street and they celebrated with a firework show. Cagey opted out but the rest of us loaded up and drove down the road for some redneck fun. They even had shapes- hearts, smiley faces and stars. Very cool.

It's still coming off... Hallelujah

I lost 2 lbs according to my digital scale- which can't be fudged and 1 according to my other scale which I think is whacked...except the number is lower so I keep it around. Jeebs offered to take my picture for me today and so I let him and regretted it. I hate getting my picture taken by Jeebs. I usually feel self conscience smiling for a pic anyway- but even more so when Jeebs is taking it. So here is the progression- weird, weird smile and awkward. You're welcome.

Crooked smile and the one armed man

Mookie has a very cute crooked tooth smile. I don't know why but her top teeth are coming in with one going in front of her bottom teeth and one going behind.

Also, Jeebs' one armed alter ego got some mail. It was a red letter day (or gold letter).

I'm asking for style advice

Jeebs made me buy this maxi skirt. I really like it, but I have no idea how to style it. I love a maxi skirt with a tank top and scarf but tank tops are out. I think this white t-shirt is fine, but I know I can do better. Suggestions?
