We hiked the "Y"!

It's been many years since either Jeebs or I have done that hike. But, with a little complaining and a little carrying of Ezra we made it.

128! 128! 128! 128! 128! 128! 128! 128! 128!

I have no words...so I"ll just leave a number.............128!!!

Me- at 1,078 pounds. 

And today- 128!! Three more pounds just for vanity sake- just to say I weigh 125 and I'm gonna try my hand at maintaining. Yikes!

Shopping adventure

I hate making decisions about clothes by myself so I occasionally send pics in the dressing room to Jeebs. I snapped this really fast and messaged it to Jeebs. Ignore the crazy slicked hair I was trying to go fast. Check out the monkeys in the background. That's Mookie's shoe in Ezra's hand. 

2 yrs ago today I had a baby in under 3 hrs

I could not believe how fast the Mooks came. And thank goodness because pitocin contractions suck! But, my uterus is a rockstar. The mooks was such an awesome surprise and we have loved her guts. Happy birthday to my now 2 yr old baby! Ugh.

4 yrs ago yesterday my liver was giving out

But it was worth it to have our crazy, darling Ezra bug... Or RaRa if you're mookie.

Ezra's last day as a 3 yr old

What is it that JM Barrie says? Little boys should never be put to bed because they will always get up one day older...sad, but there's no avoiding it. 

Ezra drove me up a wall today asking about his birthday. I think I heard birthday 700 times today. Anyway- he had a good last day of 3. We turned on the sprinklers for just a bit and let the kids get wet. Then he had a horrifying bubble bath. My kids are terrified of the jets and all I heard was Mookie's screams. This kid is so crazy, but I could kiss him all day long. And the noise!!! He can produce such noise! 

Saturday started too early

Mooks came slapping down the hallway at 6:41 this morning. She used to get in bed with us and lay still for a bit, but now she refuses. She either tells me, "up!" (Which means get your lazy bum up) or she just wants to play with my phone or the tablet. After about 30 min of putting off getting up- in came the brothers. They love to spin in Jeebs' chair and this was my view.

Then Jeebs baked me a cake for mother's day. My phone was super slow and I didn't catch it until he was starting the timer. Yes, I'm eating cake 2 Sundays in a row, but I lost 2 more pounds this week so...yeah. I will not be eating cake next week...oh wait, it's Birthday party day the day before so maybe. Yeah, May needs to be over I guess.

Mookie's view of Taylor's assembly

Taylor had her 5th grade patriotic assembly last night and they did an excellent job. I was very impressed with all of their songs and all of the soloists. They did a 3 part harmony of the national anthem and it was good! I couldn't believe these 5th graders harmonizing! I had a video of Taylor's part, but apparently mooks has deleted it. I have this one picture she took herself. Talent. 

She puts her clean clothes away...

At not even 2 years old. I was in shock. I was telling all the other kids to put their clean clothes away when I turned around to grab Mookie's pile and it was gone. I thought Taylor had just knocked it off the back of the love seat and left it on the ground. Taylor nonchalantly informed me that mooks had it putting it away and sure enough...

I wore a belt to church...around my WAIST

This is big for me. I was not blessed with a small waist, but I am actually getting one. And there are getting to be way too many pictures of me on my blog.

eBay fireworks

eBay is now open down the street and they celebrated with a firework show. Cagey opted out but the rest of us loaded up and drove down the road for some redneck fun. They even had shapes- hearts, smiley faces and stars. Very cool.

It's still coming off... Hallelujah

I lost 2 lbs according to my digital scale- which can't be fudged and 1 according to my other scale which I think is whacked...except the number is lower so I keep it around. Jeebs offered to take my picture for me today and so I let him and regretted it. I hate getting my picture taken by Jeebs. I usually feel self conscience smiling for a pic anyway- but even more so when Jeebs is taking it. So here is the progression- weird, weird smile and awkward. You're welcome.

Crooked smile and the one armed man

Mookie has a very cute crooked tooth smile. I don't know why but her top teeth are coming in with one going in front of her bottom teeth and one going behind.

Also, Jeebs' one armed alter ego got some mail. It was a red letter day (or gold letter).

I'm asking for style advice

Jeebs made me buy this maxi skirt. I really like it, but I have no idea how to style it. I love a maxi skirt with a tank top and scarf but tank tops are out. I think this white t-shirt is fine, but I know I can do better. Suggestions?
