I was so lazy today

Today I did homeschooling- started out with a little brisk 1 mile walk/run for Taylor's PE. I read Harry Potter. I did maybe 2 loads of laundry. Cleaned my kitchen. Read a little more Harry Potter. Went to Walmart with Ezra and Cagey. Made dinner. Took Tates to karate. Now I'm sitting on my bum blogging. I hate being so lazy, but at least my body doesn't ache all over. Now it's time for a little Glenn Beck and So You Think You Can Dance!! woohoo!!

It's been five years

I haven't talked to my sister in five years. Yesterday- it was five years. I remember the morning she passed away I was trying to bribe her to eat the organic oatmeal I made her. She felt so awful and I was trying to cram oatmeal down her! I still hear her voice- remember her laugh, remember our jokes. I just want to talk to my sister again.

Tates lost her 1st front tooth!

She cried for about a half hour because she's afraid people will laugh at her. Hopefully the tooth fairy will make her feel a bit better about losing teeth :)

The bug is so cute these days. He loves to move around the living room getting into whatever he can- power cords, cagey's toys, dog's leash- whatever.

Farewell my fabulous find

I found these shoes online in gray and I thought they were the most fabulous shoes ever. Well they were only 50$ and I thought- they are mine!! Of course they didn't have my size or a half size bigger in gray- they had a 7.5 in purple so I went for it even though I REALLY wanted them in gray. I figured they would be a bit big but I would be able to make them work. I had to know for sure. They came today and I was so excited. I put them on and to my great disappointment there was about a half inch of excess shoe behind my heels when I wear them with tights- they are extremely high and so my toes slide right to the end. I just can't keep them- too big, too uncomfortable, and too hard to walk in. So- to these fabulous shoes I bid you adieu- I love you:)

This is why...

I love homeschooling... this is them in their "boat" ;)
Taylor is entertaining the Bug while I make dinner- with Homestar on the computer. It kept him quiet for practically the whole time I was cooking.

I don't have a picture of why I do not love homeschooling- maybe I'll have the sense to grab the camera next time Tates screams and cries about how much she hates school- but I doubt it. You'll just have to believe me when I say- it's hard some days!

Bug is 4 months old- this is his excited face.
This is his happy face.
And this is the super closeup :) sweet face!

The Bug

This is the bug- just a few days ago. He's outgrown his moses basket. He fell asleep by himself just like this- I think it was because he couldn't move. We've been forced to set up his crib. The days of the moses basket are over- saddy.

Pics of my chillins

This was my last and favorite picture of the day. I can't believe I caught his little snarl. It is the perfect WHAT THE HECK?? face. And if you haven't noticed, Cagey has a hard time looking like a normal boy. "Look at me like a normal boy, you can't do it can you?" what movie?

STank BrEAth!

Today at church my mind started wandering. I was thinking about my stank nasty breath and I just started thinking about all the different types of bad breath. I was supposed to be playing the piano, but I was playing songs I've played many times so I start not concentrating as hard as I should on the task at hand. Anyway, I was thinking about how bad breath has varying levels of stink and varying levels of distance it travels out of the mouth. I know this is random, but some people's bad breath travels far and wide with a certain thickness to it. Some people's breath travels short distances- still really bad, but you only get a wiff here and there. I don't know- what causes the difference in coverage? Any thoughts- I'm just curious because it made me chuckle a bit while I was supposed to be playing "Choose the Right".

just because I like to be at the top of everybody's blog roll

Today was so nice- we went to Maysville where Jeebs has gone a few times to camp out with the young men. It's this quiet pretty place right next to a river. Not the Neuse or the Trent- another dang river out here. Anyway, we went out there and took the kids some matching white shirts to take their pictures. We got some cute pics - but it is a good thing Jeebs is a photoshop expert because he'll have to do some maneuvering to get one that is good of all of them. We were getting attacked by mosquitoes and the kids got very uncooperative pretty fast. They just wanted to throw rocks in the river. I think they could do that all day long. I thought it was fun and relaxing and I was excited to get to post some of the cute pics, BUT wouldn't you know it- my computer has gone the way of the buffalo. I'm using Tater's tiny school computer and it doesn't have email or any picture software that I need. Really that's my luck. Oh well- I'll get them up eventually and in the mean time it was a really nice day. Now we're watching the BYU game- go Cougs!
