Cub scouts... Yeehaw!

Cagey had his first blue and gold banquet this week. It had a cowboy theme so naturally everybody had to have a mustache. Except me- I was just honing my inner Yzma. Squeak squeakin squeaker. 

Ezra vs cookie dough

I cut Ezra's hair last week and he squirmed all over the place. One day I will hopefully be formally trained, but for now I do the best I can. As he was licking every last drop of cookie dough out of the bowl I saw a line across his head. I thought to myself what an awful job I did not blending the top of his hair until I realized...he'd been sticking his head in the bowl trying to clean it out with his tongue. 

The girls before church

I want to start a whole series on my girls' hair before and after church, but I never seem to remember to take both a before and an after picture. Mookie' hair usually looks like she's been in a war after sacrament meeting. Taylor doesn't give a dang so if it starts falling down she just yanks it out and throws the clip or rubber band wherever it lands. 

Peeps aren't for eating

They're for FhE games that make you gag. We had family home evening at our house with all but one of the Wagley sibs and I'm pretty sure if yang could be there she was. How many peeps can you fit in your mouth?

While Jeebs was away

I took a lot of pics of the Meny Mooks in this hat that's a little big for her head. She loves hats and doesn't care whose they are.

Naps were taken...only in the car.

A couple of pheasants played in the backyard, I thought they were doing some kind of mating dance, but apparently they are both male so unless nature has turned they were not.

We had an afternoon of quiet painting. The one on the left is the front view of a steam engine that Ezra painted. The one on the right is Mookie's "I'm gonna get as much paint on this little canvas as I can" picture. They were both calm, cool and quiet. It was heavenly and they didn't even make a very big mess. I wonder if this is why our grandma Wagley used to take us places to paint things. Maybe we only did it once, but I remember I thought it was the coolest thing ever.

Life as we know it

We are just trying to get where we can play outside more often. I need a shopping, painting, sewing or playing project stat.

The snow is finally melting, but we're supposed to get more tomorrow. I would really love a snow day, but these people are crazy and just crave a good car wreck in the ice! OH how weird it is to live in Lehi again.

First I was mad then I got hysterical

Ezra landed Cagey's helicopter perfectly...in my hair. I wanted to gripe at him then I saw the humor and lost it. Luckily it came out without losing any hair. I don't have much to spare. I also got my new bedding! It's only been on back order since January.

to annoy my dad. Hehehee, behold my Sunday outfit! I didn't make it to church because of my sick child, but here's proof I tried. I need nude hose with a seam up the back for this outfit I think. 

Oh what do you do in the wintertime...

My kids love bubble baths and I love bedtime. I feel like we are just hunkering down waiting for the winter to be over. I love winter and snow, but I am freaking freezing.
