Nessa, go to the dollar store and get you one of those ten dollar pre-lit little trees so the kids can have SOMETHING. The one I got mother that time cost ten dollars, comes out of the box in one piece, plugs in, and voila! TREE! Hang on to the dang box, gee. You can just stuff it back in the box and take it to your new home when the time comes.
