Spring is springing

I found this in the backyard. I love snow but I'm ready for flowers and container gardening. We are supposed to make a butterfly garden for Taylor's science and since my butterfly bush is back in NC we will have to plant another one. Now I have to get my baby to sleep so I can smooch on Jeebs. My new perfume is irresistible, eau de 'spitup'.

You should see our overgrown yard!! What with the warm temps and all the rain errything has exploded into super green, super clean, and super big growth! Yard needs mowing, garden needs tilling, weeds need pulling out of various flowerbeds, I want to move the two peach trees to a more suitable location, I want to plant yellow and orange flowers EVERYWHERE in nice weed free beds while errything is muddy. What do I HAVE to do? I HAVE to drive down to Lufkin and back so we can take the Bishop's Yukon back to him and pick up the Avalon, provided it will start. If we had a trailer, we could trailer it back with our suburban. Daddy has taken a day's vacation tomorrow and we will have to waste it by being on the road. Daddy also MUST schedule the removal of the oak tree in the back north corner. I planted it poorly and now it is just too much in the way. It will open up that north side to full sun, which is always fun. I'm going to plant YELLOW this year. This is my year for YELLOW BLOOMS. We need to buy an uber amount of topsoil, red cedar cover stuff, etc. to make our flowerbeds look nice. I also want my carpets cleaned very well. So that's always a nervous challenge, trying to choose the best carpet cleaner around. brother, i'm bobbin' over this keyboard, don't know what i'm doing, so i will sign off. i love all you dang kids.

I know that is the favorite fragrance of Dad's everywhere....it's addictive, apparently. ;)
