It's a funny religion we have. We're here in Utah and just said goodbye to grandma and grandpa Nicolaysen for 2 years. They're going on a mission to oversee the missionary training center in Guatemala. They packed up their home and a few of their belongings, said goodbye to their kids and grandkids and boarded a plane.
We headed down to BYU campus to get a few items from the bookstore. BYU has to be the craziest college campus around. There are pregnant girls (with wedding rings) waddling from building to building, grown macho men with baby carriers and/or small children trailing behind and older folks traipsing around waiting for a meeting or some kind of training. We all have a common thread that binds us together- the gospel. Whether we're in North Carolina, Utah or Guatemala it's all the same, requiring our sacrifices and pushing us out of our comfort zones and I love it.

I know where we could go on a mission trip...Ireland...I'm pretty sure we need to go there. Just sayin'. You got anyone you know that lives there and are about to go somewhere else on a mission trip for two years and needs house sitters? ;)
