I am so scared about this election. I really thought if I go to college and get my degree- my husband gets his degree and we work hard to succeed nothing could get in our way. In a capitalistic society hard work is rewarded by success and prosperity. Risk has its rewards. Now we have a socialist running for president wanting to "spread the wealth" or shall we say "spread the earnings" of those that work to those who don't work or don't earn. I mean what is the point of working? Socialism promotes laziness- and yeah it does equalize everybody- it equalizes everybody in POVERTY! Ok, so some people have more than I do- I don't care-- they earned it, or were born into it, or whatever the case may be. I am not a huge McCain fan, but Palin is our hope now. I think she is a true conservative. I really like how she said in the debate that she wanted to put money back in the taxpayers hands- not raise taxes. Who the heck wants to give MORE money to the government??? No, I do not believe it is my patriotic duty to give my income to the government- no I don't think they can make better decisions about my money than I can.
Anyway, it just scares me all the lying and cheating going on in the Obama campaign. I don't really see how there is a way he won't get elected when the Supreme Court says it's ok for his campaign to cheat. What the heck? How did it come to this? And why the heck are people so scared of Sara Palin? What is scary about her? So she shot a moose out of a helicopter or whatever- Obama would let babies die that nobody wanted. What is more horrifying? I know I'm asking for something bad to happen to me, putting this on the web. I'll probably be hunted down and be shut up some how for disagreeing with Obama and his ilk. Oh well, I just had to write about it because it really scares me the way this nation is going. I just really wanted to someday have a comfortable life- I don't need wealth and riches galore, but I just want to know that the option of working hard and being rewarded is still there.

It's Monday night and I'm still hopeful that "we will overcome". Nessa, take heart! I think people are waking up and seeing the man behind the media! There are so many reasons to vote against Barack Hussein Obama that it would take all day to list them. I will list a few. Obama supports infanticide. It is not even arguable.

We all know that we are supposed to vote for candidates who most closely align themselves with our views. I for one, DO NOT CONDONE infanticide in any way, shape, or form, nor will I ever. If you are for infanticide, then vote Obama.
Obama supports, defends, and IS a pure socialist. Socialism breeds discontent and apathy. Because why should YOU work hard if the fruits of your labor will be forcibly taken and given to someone who REFUSES to work? Why should YOU have to give your hard earned dollars to the doctor or hospital or midwife to pay for your children (I know y'all are worried about how you're going to come up with the money) when others happily allow AND EXPECT Medicaid or some such program to pay and pay and pay. Remember all those gerts at Gladewater High? They didn't pay a thin dime for any of their babies and each one just increased the amount of their welfare checks! HELLO! Those programs are taxpayer funded which means that you and Jeebus are paying TWICE. Paying for your own and paying for others' children. WE ALL ARE! I don't know how we got to such a feeling of entitlement in this country, but it is wrong and it is sickening that people EXPECT other people to pay for their home, food, medical care while driving nice cars and buying nice clothes. They don't want to spend THEIR discretionary money (usually provided courtesy of the U.S. taxpayer) on anything as mundane as medicine or milk or juice or doctor bills. THEIR discretionary money is spent on nice cars, going out, shopping, in a word, luxuries. I heard that Obama had some family on his infomercial who said that they had to cut back on SNACKS!!! Are you kidding me? NO ONE minds helping those who are truly in need and there are programs in place to do so. But like everything else in the federal govt., those programs have gotten totally out of hand.
If you don't mind paying to support people too lazy to support themselves vote for Barack Obama, because he WILL raise taxes. You will be unpleasantly surprised at the people he considers rich.

President Benson and other leaders saw all of this coming long ago. The left has done their best to discredit, embarrass, and destroy the personal lives of those who disagree with them. You know their method. Did you know there is a name for it? Stalinism. Look it up on Wikipedia.
If you don't want to prevent attacks by terrorists, vote for Obama. My goodness, the man is a leftist radical with friends who are avowed terrorists. How can he be anything else? If it looks like a dog, and it barks like a dog, it's most likely a dog.
The man is a liar. He can't tell the truth about his agenda, because he would never be elected. Let's pray that he ISN'T elected tomorrow. If he is, he has promised that he will quickly move to FUNDAMENTALLY change America. Boy, he ain't kiddin'!!!
